Matt Jones serves as President at Legacy Capital and also as a wealth advisor to affluent and ultra-affluent clientele throughout the United States. His areas of expertise include asset management, estate tax / multi-generational wealth transfer planning and life insurance planning.
While attending law school, Matt clerked at three of Arkansas’ largest law firms before deciding his true passion was in finance and investments. He also spent part of his early career with prestigious investment banking firms Morgan Keegan, Inc. of Memphis and Stephens Inc. of Little Rock before joining Legacy Capital in 1997. His diverse background provides him a unique understanding of the relationship between financial, legal and emotional issues, as well as the family dynamics faced by ultra-affluent families in the context of their planning.
As a non-practicing member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Matt is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP™) professional and holds insurance licenses (AR Ins. License #15398; CA Ins. License #0B87780) and several securities licenses. He has been named to the Arkansas Business “Top Forty Under 40” list, has been honored by Inviting Arkansas as one of 10 “Movers and Shakers” in the state’s business community, and was recently selected by the Arkansas Money & Politics publication as one of the top financial advisors in Arkansas. Matt is also a multiple qualifier for MDRT’s exclusive Top of the Table recognizing the life insurance industry’s top advisors.
Matt received a BSBA in Financial Management from the Walton Business School at the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Razorback tennis team and received his Juris Doctorate from the UALR Bowen School of Law. He has been active in the community, serving on several non-profit boards and ministries. He currently serves as the Chair of the Baptist Health Foundation Board. Matt and his wife Courtney are active members of New Life Church in West Little Rock. Outside of work, Matt enjoys hanging out and traveling with his family as well as staying active through tennis, golf, and snow skiing.
Jason Prather has extensive experience in sophisticated tax and estate planning strategies and advises affluent clients nationwide in the areas of estate and gift tax, wealth transfer, life insurance planning and tax strategies. Earlier in his career, he was a partner in the tax section of Forth Worth’s prestigious Cantey & Hanger, LLP law firm. Both as attorney and financial advisor, Jason develops strong relationships with clients’ attorneys and tax advisors, working with them to help create solutions that address the often-complex relationship between the financial products and legal structures frequently utilized by wealthy families.
Bob Roberts joined Legacy Capital in 2019, after a successful 30 year career at Baptist Health. His initial role, in 1988, was Assistant Vice President of Finance. In 2008, he was promoted to Senior VP and CFO, and became Executive VP/CFO in 2014.
Having joined the firm at a critical time in its evolution, Bob is responsible for overseeing strategic growth, implementing the expansion into additional locations, and recruiting and integrating advisor teams and individual advisors into the Legacy Capital family.
Bob earned Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music degrees from Indiana University in Trumpet Performance, and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Baylor University. He began his career as a CPA with KPMG and Arthur Andersen before moving on to Baptist Health.
Bob is very active as a freelance trumpeter and performs regularly with the Natural State Brass Band and the Little Rock Winds. He is a board member for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. When not working or playing trumpet, Bob enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with his wife, Stacy, to visit their three adult children living in Michigan, Texas and Indiana.
Connor is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he lived for 17 years. He joined Legacy Capital in 2023 after spending 3.5 years working in the financial services industry. He holds the Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, in addition to an Arkansas Insurance license. Connor enjoys building relationships with clients by understanding their needs and what is most important to them.
While attending the University of Arkansas, Connor double majored in Finance and Supply Chain Management and is currently working towards graduating with his MBA in the summer of 2023.
Connor values spending time with family, friends, his girlfriend, Ashton, and their dog, Lila. He also enjoys playing golf, water skiing, snow skiing, and participating in Spartan races around the country.
Jessica Heath, Registered Client Service Associate, graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with Bachelor of Art degrees in Graphic Design and in Music. She holds the FINRA Series 65 license. Prior to joining Legacy, Jessica was an Investment Assistant - Client Advisor with Arvest Asset Management.
Jessica spends most of her free time with her daughter, Juliet. She also enjoys pickleball, painting, and genealogy.
Nickole Diaz is an Accounting professional with over a decade of professional experience working in corporate, nonprofit, and public accounting. She has extensive experience in auditing, managing multiple accounts/funds, and financial reporting.
Nickole has a strong passion for numbers which led her to pursue a degree in accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Nickole enjoys spending time with her Husband, Rolando, and children, Destiny, Kaleb and Aaliyah. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Casey has been with the firm since 2007 and became licensed in health and insurance at the end of 2008 (AR Ins. License #344551). As Client Service Associate, she assists in handling clients’ requests on both the investment and insurance sides of the business. She also conducts annual policy reviews, manages the client database and generally makes sure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Casey holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Arkansas, and spent a summer studying in Colima, Mexico. As a proud mother of boys, she enjoys the outdoors, running, and cooking for her family. Casey is also active with a local women's shelter, Women & Children First, serving as a member of their "Peacekeepers" Board.
Shelly joined the Legacy Capital team in 2024. Shelly has a gift for connecting with people and is strongly committed to the value of family life and supporting the local community. Growing up in a small Nebraska town, she learned deep appreciation for relationships and has real enthusiasm for wanting to invest time in friends and neighbors.
Shelly holds a life and health insurance license in addition to the Series 6 and 63 licenses. She has over 10 years of experience working alongside financial advisors helping clients attain their personal goals.
Shelly has been married to her husband, Ryan, since 1999 and they have four children. Outside of work, Shelly enjoys spending time camping and going on motorcycle rides.
Anita Shuptrine came to Legacy from Central Licensing Bureau and has 18 years of experience in the licensing business.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, running or biking with her family and friends.

While attending Centenary College of Louisiana, he was a member of the golf team for four years and graduated with a BA degree in Economics. John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional, Certified Private Wealth Advisor ®, holds several securities licenses (7, 9, 10, 63, 66), and insurance licenses (AR Ins. License #19212786 and CA Ins. License #0N05427).
John is active in the community and assists coaching the Catholic High Men’s Golf team. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and staying active through golf, running, and cycling. John resides in Little Rock with his wife Aubrey.
Morgan Sizer brings over two decades of experience within financial markets, holding senior roles within institutional proprietary trading, hedge fund management and high frequency arbitrage. His career has focused on the research, development and implementation low beta, alpha-maximizing quantitative strategies spanning a broad range of international markets and asset classes, with an emphasis on equities, equity derivatives, and currencies.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder.
In his spare time Morgan enjoys travelling with his family and working in his home studio finalizing audio productions for the recorded music industry.
Jessica joined the firm in 2005 and has been the Director of Underwriting since 2013. She has built relationships with the underwriting departments of all of the major carriers. Well-versed in their product offerings, Jessica makes recommendations to Legacy advisors and assists with product illustrations. After careful review and analysis of clients’ medical records, she negotiates and advocates for them with various carriers to achieve the most favorable rating and associated pricing.
Jessica holds a BS in Health and Applied Science from the University of Central AR, and successfully completed the rigorous requirements to be a Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU). In 2016, she received the Underwriting Excellence Award from Partners Financial. Jessica was listed in Soiree’s 2019 Women to Watch and mostly recently in AMP magazine’s Power Women of 2021. She lives in Maumelle, AR with her husband and two children. In addition to attending her children’s various sporting and school events, she is an active board member for Women & Children First. She is also a mountain bike coach for the AR NICA league..
Jay Strickland has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, with extensive experience in portfolio management and compliance. His areas of expertise include asset management, retirement planning, and financial planning.
He holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Masters degrees in both Finance and Pastoral Ministries. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ and Arkansas insurance licensed professional. Jay worked for Trent Capital Management for 12 years prior to its merger with Legacy Capital in 2021.
Jay lives in Conway with his wife and three sons. He has a passion for woodworking, reading, and baseball. He is also actively involved in teaching ministries at his church, and has previously served on the Conway Christian School board.
Lauren joined the Legacy Capital team in 2015. Her position is focused around delivering personalized and professional client service experiences and working side by side with advisors. With 16 years of experience in the wealth management industry, she prides herself on her attention to detail and communicating well with clients to ensure their needs are met. She also holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Lauren lives in Benton with her husband, Zack, and two children, Karlee and Logan. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling and cooking.
Greg Young, a Registered Investment Advisor, began his career in the Financial Services industry in 1989. Greg is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. He formerly served as the President of the Arkansas chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.
Greg and his wife, Michelle live in Little Rock, AR. Greg’s interests include boating, skiing and hunting.
Wes Zwiegers joined Legacy Capital in 2019, having spent the prior six years in Public Accounting at Frost PLLC and in institutional equity sales at Stephens Inc,. Wes is dedicated to serving clients in a way that will have a valuable, long-term impact on their lives.
With a double major in accounting and finance, Wes received his bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University, where he spent four years on the golf team. He serves on the Spark! Committee at the Museum of Discovery. The annual Spark! Event honors those who have overcome challenges and demonstrated ability in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics.) The Spark! Stars are those in the community who inspire children to similarly strive to achieve their goals. He is also a member of First Service Bank’s Advisory Board.
A dedicated golfer, Wes can generally be found on the golf course when he’s not working – or spending time with his two dogs, Russie and Obie.

Kevin Clark is a Certified Public Accountant in Jonesboro and is also a Registered Investment Advisor. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services, most recently as a brokerage representative of Signator Investors and Transamerica Financial Advisors. His CPA practice caters to the self-employed and business owners with tax, bookkeeping and payroll services.
Kevin lives in Jonesboro with his wife and 2 sons. He enjoys reading, sports (watching, mostly), good clean jokes, and a little fishing when he can.
